The course deals with four modules Module 1 - Indian Constituition and Secularism.Module 2 - Sustainable environment.Module 3 - GenderModule 4 - Human RightsThe course aims at inculcating values, responsibilities with regard to the items mentioned above The course is designed for 5hours / Week pattern for the conduct of classes

Objectives of the course:To make the learners aware of the humanist dimension of literature and media in the contemporary world.To enable the learners to understand concepts like Globalisation, Commercialisation and Intellectual Property rights through New Literatures.To inculcate the spirit of universal brotherhood by presenting critiques of race, xenophobia, war and national borders.To disseminate knowledge about the rights of minorities such as children, animals and the disabled and thus create a positive change in the societal perspectives towards them.
