Objectives
• To equip the students with fundamental principles of Problem Solving aspects.

• To equip the students to write programs for solving simple computing problems

At the end of the Course, the Student will be able
- To understand the logical structure of a C program, to familiarize the basic syntax and semantics of C Language and to read, understand and trace the execution of programs written in C language.
- To enhance the analyzing and problem solving skills and use the same for writing programs in C for solving simple computing problems and to develop applications.

Digital Electronics
Course Outcomes
At the end of this course, students will be able to
CO1 Perform the conversion and do arithmetic operation on different number systems.
CO2 Understand basic logic gates, concepts of Boolean algebra and techniques to simplify Boolean expressions.
CO3 Define the standard characteristics of the logic families and compare different logic families like TTL, CMOS and ECL.
CO4 Understand logical operations of various combinational logic circuits like multiplexer, demultiplexer, arithmetic circuits, comparator, parity generator and checker.
CO5 Analyse the sequential circuits like Flip flops, counters and shift register and its IC’s.
