Objective of the course -

  • To make the learner aware of the humanist dimension of literature and media in the contemporary world.
  • To enable the learner understand the concept like globalisation, commercialization and Intellectual Property rights through new literature.
  • To inculcate the spirit of universal brotherhood by presenting critiques of race, xenophobia,war and national borders.
  • To disseminate the knowledge about the rights of minorities such as children, disabled and animals and thus create a positive change in the societal perspective on them.
