Course Outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to

CO1 Perform the conversion and do arithmetic operation on different number systems.

CO2 Understand basic logic gates, concepts of Boolean algebra and techniques to simplify Boolean expressions.

CO3 Define the standard characteristics of the logic families and compare different logic families like TTL, CMOS and ECL.

CO4 Understand logical operations of various combinational logic circuits like multiplexer, demultiplexer, arithmetic circuits, comparator, parity generator and checker.

CO5 Analyse the sequential circuits like Flip flops, counters and shift register and its IC’s.
